Choreographic research workshop for the creation of Site Specific Performances based on a sort of „cinematographic thinking“ conducted by choreographers Nathalie Larquet and Martina La Ragione.
After a first part of urban training in the post-industrial spaces of Dumbo, we will work on the empathy of cinematic moments that are imprinted in our collective memory to develop the essence of what fascinates us about these images and recreate them through movement and choreographic composition.
By imagining a cinematic space in the rooms of Dumbo, we will look for what we do not see but what we feel in the sensory invisible of a composition to give life to small performances connected to the filmic composition of an image that arises in urban places in relation to their architecture, taking inspiration from to the great masters of Italian cinema.
The performances will be recorded on film by the choreographer and video maker Nathalie Larquet and analyzed together in order to develop them further.

Fame workshop
Workshop di ricerca coreografica per la creazione di Site Specific Performances basate su una sorta di „pensiero cinematografico“ condotto dalle coreografe Nathalie Larquet e Martina La Ragione.
Dopo una prima parte di training in urbano negli spazi post industriali del Dumbo, lavoreremo sull’empatia di momenti cinematografici che si imprimono nella nostra memoria collettiva per sviluppare l’essenza di ciò che ci affascina di queste immagini e ricrearle attraverso il movimento e la composizione coreografica.
Immaginando uno spazio cinematografico negli ambienti del Dumbo, cercheremo ciò che non vediamo ma ciò che sentiamo nell’invisibile sensoriale di una composizione per dar vita a piccole performances collegate alla composizione filmica di un’immagine che nasce in luoghi urbani in relazione alla loro architettura ispirandosi ai grandi maestri del cinema italiano.
Le performances verranno registrate su pellicola dalla coreografa e video maker Nathalie Larquet e analizzate insieme per poterle sviluppare ulteriormente.
