Is an installative performance and a radical further development of A TINY CUT IN A VELVET DRESS into the analogue space, which is characterised by its apparent dissolution.

Ist eine installative Performance und eine radikale Weiterentwicklung von A TINY CUT IN A VELVET DRESS in den analogen Raum hinein, der sich durch seine scheinbare Auflösung auszeichnet.
The performance was conceived for one performer at a time and is divided into three analogue parts of 15 minutes each and also three intermezzi in the form of projections | screens, quasi as intermediate worlds that the audience can experience as they wander between the spaces. The première | prototype of SPACE SEMANTICS took place in Düsseldorf at Cubic Studios. SPACE SEMANTICS seeks its performances primarily in large spaces and especially in museums.

Die Vorstellung wurde für jeweils eine(n) Performer(in) konzipiert und gliedert sich in drei analoge Teile von jeweils 15 Minuten und ebenfalls drei Intermezzi in Form von Projektionen | Bildschirmen, quasi als Zwischenwelten, die das Publikum in seiner Wanderung zwischen den Räumen erfährt und erleben kann. Die Uraufführung | Der Prototyp von SPACE SEMANTICS fand in Düsseldorf in den Cubic Studios statt. SPACE SEMANTICS sucht seine Vorstellungen vorwiegend in grossen Räumen und insbesondere in Museen.

I prefer to take risks rather than settle for what I know and what is connected to my experience. My experience of dance has become a second skin, because I am now discovering the fascination of a space in terms of colours, textures, shapes and sound, all of which contribute to the outcome of a story expressed in gestures, in the inner intensity and strong presence of a protagonist… these elements interact and convey a particular and strange atmosphere.

Ich ziehe es vor, Risiken einzugehen, anstatt mich mit dem zu begnügen, was ich kenne und was mit meiner Erfahrung verbunden ist. Meine Erfahrung mit dem Tanz ist zu einer zweiten Haut geworden, denn inzwischen entdecke ich die Faszination eines Raumes in Bezug auf Farben, Texturen, Formen und Klang, die alle zum Ergebnis einer Geschichte beitragen, die sich in Gesten, in innerer Intensität und starker Präsenz eines Protagonisten ausdrückt… diese Elemente interagieren und vermitteln eine besondere und seltsame Atmosphäre.
I like things to develop in the uncertainty and sense of exploration of new areas related to our own limitations. I make sure to create an unknown terrain with the protagonist that not only refers to the inner states related to the subject we are interested in. ….. working with an intuitive approach plays a major role. the inner dimension that resonates with the space. the inner and outer dialogue finds its dimension in the space and in the interpretation of the gestures. the idea that I support is that of creating one’s own rituals that open up new possibilities of expression and intentions in space. The desire to create a unique and authentic moment that has a framework that can be reproduced while leaving space to the moment, and to be free to insert new elements into each new performance. The ability to adapt to each new space is also a challenge that opens up new possibilities for the piece.

Ich mag es, wenn sich die Dinge in der Unsicherheit und dem Gefühl der Erkundung neuer Bereiche entwickeln, die mit unseren eigenen Grenzen zusammenhängen. Ich achte darauf, mit dem Protagonisten ein unbekanntes Terrain zu schaffen, das nicht nur auf die inneren Zustände im Zusammenhang mit dem Thema, das uns interessiert, verweist. ….. spielt die Arbeit mit einem intuitiven Ansatz eine große Rolle. die innere Dimension, die mit dem Raum in Resonanz steht. der innere und äußere Dialog findet seine Dimension im Raum und in der Interpretation der Gesten. die Idee, die ich unterstütze, ist die, eigene Rituale zu schaffen, die neue Möglichkeiten des Ausdrucks und der Absichten im Raum eröffnen. Der Wunsch, einen einzigartigen und authentischen Moment zu schaffen, der einen Rahmen hat, der reproduziert werden kann, während dem Moment Raum gelassen wird, und frei zu sein, neue Elemente in jede neue Performance einzufügen. Die Fähigkeit, sich an jeden neuen Raum anzupassen, ist ebenfalls eine Herausforderung, die dem Stück neue Möglichkeiten eröffnet.
